Prague Centre for Media Skills (PCMS) is an international group of media and communication professionals dedicated to promoting fair, inclusive, and informed societies. Our mission is to strengthen fundamental human rights, rule of law, democracy, inclusion, equality, sustainability, and respect for individual rights and aspirations.

As a founding member of the ‘Promoting Human Rights in the Digital Era‘ consortium, PCMS led the ‘TechWatch’ project, reinforcing our commitment to safeguarding human rights in the digital realms of media, communication, technology, and education.
PCMS works with Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty to empower journalists from regions where democracy and independent media are under threat. Together with RFE/RL, PCMS aims to promote journalistic excellence and support fair, inclusive, and transparent societies.

Keep up with the latest developments in PCMS activities:
- Discussion at the Prague Media Point 2024 conference on AI-induced volatility in the media (November 29, 2024).
- Joined the Network for the Protection of Democracy and endorsed a petition supporting public media (November 17, 2024).
- PCMS participated in the closing ceremony of the Active Citizens Fund graced by the Czech President (October 17, 2024).
- Supported the visit of Russian dissidents to Czechia to promote democracy, free speech, and human rights (September, 2024).
Through active participation in conferences, events, workshops, and collaborative e-learning initiatives, as well as contributions to publications, PCMS fosters knowledge sharing and promotes a vibrant exchange of ideas.
